Turtle Talk:
Bob Thomas is a name used by Ernest Hare (of Billy Jones & Ernest Hare, The Happiness Boys) when he recorded for minor record labels such as Grey Gull. The vocal chorus on "Knock Wood and Whistle" was probably provided by Ernest Hare.
Tech Tidbits:
Grey Gull 1166-B was transferred using a 3.5 mil truncated elliptical stylus in a Stanton 500 stereo cartridge at 78 rpm on a United Audio Dual 1219 turntable.
