OK, here's the small print:
Turtle does not and will not post selections restored from recordings still covered by a valid copyright.
Each of the original recordings utilized to make the selections in Jim & Marianne's Jukebox is understood to be in the public domain, i.e. there is no United States copyright which prohibits Turtle from sharing it with you and/or requires a payment for sharing.
HOWEVER, EACH SELECTION IN THE JUKEBOX IS COPYRIGHTED. Why? Because remastering of each selection reflects a significant number of work hours and the use of other valuable resources including but not limited to the expense of acquiring original recordings, computer hardware and computer software.
Turtle hopes you enjoy each and every selection. Turtle wishes to share a love and appreciation of recordings that were originally played on spring powered victrolas, grafonolas, gramophones, phonographs and the like.
Share this site with anyone who might enjoy vintage recordings, but DO NOT USE ANY SELECTION FOR ANY COMMERCIAL PURPOSE WITHOUT THE WRITTEN, SIGNED AND VALIDATED PERMISSION OF AND BY TURTLE.
